Kuzic

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Kuzic ("Kuzic", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our website, applications, and services (together, the "Services"). Kuzic is a tool for sharing audio and collecting time-anchored feedback, and this policy is written around that purpose. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect and why

We collect the following information to provide, improve, and protect the Services.

Account information

When you create an account we collect basic profile details such as your name, email address, and profile image. We use Google sign-in and our authentication provider to register and authenticate you, so some of this information comes from the account you choose to sign in with.

Your content

Kuzic is designed to let you upload audio, organize it into projects and versions, and collaborate with others. We store and process the files you upload, along with the comments, project and version details, and related metadata you create — including things like file size, duration, upload time, collaborators, and the timestamps your feedback is anchored to. This is "your content," and we use it to provide the features you ask for, such as playback, sharing, and collaboration.

Usage information

We collect information about how you interact with the Services — for example, the tracks you open, comments you create or resolve, and links you share — so we can operate, improve, and secure the product.

Device and log information

When you use the Services we automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and basic log data. We use this to keep the Services running reliably and to detect and prevent abuse.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in and keep your session secure. We do not use them for advertising or cross-site ad tracking. You can adjust your browser settings to limit cookies, but some features may not work properly if you do.

How we share information

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run Kuzic, and they may process your information on our behalf and under our instructions:

  • Our authentication provider (Clerk) and Google sign-in, to create and secure your account.
  • Our email provider (Resend), to send transactional emails such as invites and notifications.
  • Our object storage and hosting providers, to store the files you upload and to operate the Services.

Other users

Collaboration is a core part of Kuzic. When you share a track or project, or work with collaborators, certain information — such as your name, profile image, and the comments you leave — is visible to the people you share or collaborate with.

Legal and safety

We may disclose information if we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with the law or a valid legal request, to enforce our Terms of Service, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Kuzic, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

How we handle your data

Your choices

You can review and update your account information from within the Services, and you can delete content you have created. If you would like help accessing, exporting, or deleting your information, contact us at support@kuzic.com.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When you delete content or close your account, we begin deleting the associated information, though some copies may persist for a short period in backups or where we are required to retain them by law.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to respond promptly if an issue arises.

Children's privacy

The Services are not intended for anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
